We have high expectations for our participants and we will go the extra mile to make sure you are another success story. Large Group is a program for all fitness levels, designed to push you further than you would push yourself. By boosting intensity and working outside your comfort zone, you can improve your cardiovascular conditioning and physical strength in a shorter amount of time. In order to achieve optimal progress physically and mentally, you have to be willing to step outside your comfort zone. In fact, pushing yourself to this level is important for growth in ALL aspects of your life.

Underground Functional Fitness is proud to offer a low-cost personal training program! The Underground Functional Fitness large group is the most personalized “bootcamp”-style workout in the Valley! Classes are limited to 20 people. The program runs four weeks on and one week off and meets two-three times per week (View Class Schedule & Calendar). Regardless of your fitness level, emphasis is placed on exercising safely, having fun, and completing the challenge.The 45-55 minute workout includes:

Bootcamp

  • Core training
  • Resistance training
  • Energy system conditioning
  • Flexibility training
  • General nutrition consultation

The program is for ALL FITNESS LEVELS. The advanced participants will find the class very challenging and beginners will feel very much a part of all the action, but at their own level! Rates vary based on your length of commitment.

Large Group Application Process


Underground Functional Fitness’ “bootcamp” style fitness program is an invite-only membership. We use a 1-week tryout to assess if our program is the right long-term fit for each trial candidate. If you are in fact invited to join our exclusive program, you will have the ability to choose from several membership options based on your current schedule and budget.

Tryouts are only offered within the first week of each session of bootcamp out of fairness to current members. All trial members must complete and submit an initial large group registration prior to the initial large group orientation, offered the first Saturday of each month.

All interested trial members must attend a mandatory initial large grouporientation. This orientation is meant to assess the current fitness level of each new trial member and answer any questions or concerns prior to the first workout of the new session of the large group session. Take the Corporate Challenge!
