Coach David Brown's Personal Mission Statement
My commitment is to use evidence-based practices to train, educate, and motivate individuals to reach their optimal fitness potential and to inspire them to continue reaching on their own. My commitment to excellence of human movement will be demonstrated through my adherence to established standards, guidelines, and ethical principles of the industry. I will devote myself, and encourage others to devote themselves, to a life of continual learning.
Coach David Brown's Biography
Coach David Brown has mastered a training style that is unique and difficult to imitate and is currently a doctoral student of Health Sciences. For more than 20 years, Coach Brown has been using innovative techniques and scientific protocol to develop and implement training programs and educational materials for a wide array of clients. His expertise has led him to be a top referral for medical professionals and a speaker and consultant on the fundamentals of fitness, nutrition, and health.
Coach Brown received his Master of Science degree from A.T. Stills University in the field of Human Movement (Kinesiology), with specializations in Sports Performance and Corrective Exercise, and holds bachelor’s degrees in Education and Exercise Physiology. He competed in collegiate-level sports and has been considered an elite-level athlete in several sports, most recently achieving Midwest Champion status in 3 divisions for Jiu-Jitsu.
Coach Brown is a trainer for all ages, from youth to the elite level, and has trained various professional and Olympic athletes.
Coach Brown’s education and expertise are not limited to the health and fitness industry. He also graduated from the Arizona Police Academy where he later served as a Physical Fitness, Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Shoothouse, Closed Quarter Battle, and Building Search instructor. He was a Subject Matter Expert in Wellness and Physical Fitness for the Arizona Police Officer and Standards Board and trained new physical fitness instructors at the Rio Salado Community College in Arizona.
During his tenure in Arizona, Coach Brown was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for two 5A high schools, for which he designed and implemented programs that helped numerous athletes receive NCAA athletic scholarships. He coached varsity football at North Canyon and Westview High School under Coach of the Year, Jeff Bowen. Coach Brown was co-owner and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Next Level Strength and Conditioning in Phoenix, all while performing his law enforcement duties.
