Philosophy:

Being fit is for EVERYBODY, not just an elite athletic few. More and more regular folks are turning to personal trainers to get in shape and keep fit and healthy. As a result, demand for personal trainers is booming like never before.

We understand that exercising on a regular basis isn't exciting for most people. Getting in shape is often associated with boring exercise routines that never seem to end. Underground Functional Fitness is here to show you how exercising can be fun and innovative. Our focus is to provide effective exercises in a fun format, eliminating boredom and inconsistent exercise habits.

Our training focus is on functional and integrated training, working our bodies the way that we use them. This means working large and small muscle groups alike, moving multiple joints through full ranges of motion, and constantly emphasizing stability and body control.

Many exercisers rely on machine training and simple motions for their weight training regimens. These exercises work large muscle groups but miss small stabilizing muscles, the sorts which allow us to maintain body balance and stability, and help to prevent injuries.

Any "trainer" can stand around counting reps while you go through a circuit. We think you want a trainer who takes a personal interest in your success, who can bring to bear the best techniques from every exercise discipline, and one who is fun and engaging to work with.

High-quality integrated training will train your body to be strong and healthy, balanced and stable. In addition, it will help you build muscle, burn calories, and rapidly increase strength and endurance.

There are some who love fast food and there are some who enjoy fine dining ... since your body is your vessel in life, why should you simply settle for fast food exercise instruction?

Underground Functional Fitness, LLC is based in Menasha, Wisconsin and will operate a personal training business that helps clients become healthier by increasing their fitness levels and modifying their nutritional intake. The services include:

  • Initial consultation and screening
  • Effective personalized fitness training and nutrition program design, planning and implementation according to the individual’s or group’s needs and requirements
  • Nutrition consultation
  • Instruction, motivation and monitoring of exercise activities, aerobic exercising, stretching, and muscle conditioning, building and toning
  • Demonstrating various types of exercises and techniques
  • Helping clients improve their exercising techniques and performance
  • Performing health-risk analysis to identify areas of potential concern (such as diet, smoking and alcohol)
  • Advising clients on how to modify their lifestyle to improve their fitness
  • Keeping records of the clients’ exercise sessions to monitor their progress towards physical fitness to help them reach their goals
