Brent Miller, B.S.

Brent Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in fitness studies from Lakeland College. Brent first met Coach Brown when he gave a talk at a summer school program at Menasha High School. Fitness and athletics play a big role in Brent’s life. He played football in high school and college. His favorite thing about working in the fitness industry is that there is never a routine. He believes in Underground Functional Fitness’s philosophy in that no workout is and ever should be the same. “I love working with people and helping them reach their goals and make lifestyle changes,” says Brent. “I am anxious to share my knowledge with clients and to grow as a trainer at Underground.”
Becca Kandler, B.A., M.A., CPT
Health & Fitness Specialist
Sport/Exercise Psychology Consultant
Becca has been a group fitness instructor and trainer in the Fox Valley since 2005 and holds several group fitness certifications. After years of chronic knee pain and failed surgeries, Becca decided to train with Coach Brown. Having worked alongside him, she’d seen what he could do. “He made modifications to my training and he had a plan to increase strength and help with my rehabilitation.” Becca said she wanted to feel good, and that’s exactly what happened by training with Coach Brown. As a result of this training, she lost 15 pounds and significantly improved her strength and mobility.
Becca has experience teaching water exercise, step, strength and resistance, and other popular group fitness classes. Becca holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, studying psychology and English-scientific and technical writing, and a master’s degree from Argosy University in Sport/Exercise Psychology. Becca has also earned her American College of Sports Medicine (ASCM) personal trainer certification.
Nick Rozek
Health & Fitness Specialist
Nick Rozek earned his bachelor’s degree from UW - Eau Claire in Human Performance with a Sport Performance emphasis. Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is also pursuing his Corrective Exercise Specialist certification (CES). Nick has been active his whole life, playing football, track, and baseball. “Being active makes me feel good about myself and allows me to make the most out of every day. I truly enjoy challenging myself in all types of workouts and training to see just how hard I can work. I am very competitive and enjoy trying new things.”
Nick believes that with hard work and commitment, anything can be achieved and enjoys helping individuals reach their goals. His personal fitness interests include resistance training, functional training, sports training, and cycling, and he trains to compete in numerous races/rides throughout the state.
